“Without even announcing the @zoosvictoria campaign - Safe Cat, Safe Wildlife - Cat City is able to put you into the shoes of your own pets, exploring their new play spaces, without children even realising the clever creativity that has been put to work behind the scenes.” Over the Queen’s Birthday weekend in June, Polyglot Theatre and Melbourne Zoo presented a special one-off project – Cat City. 12-year old Gully Thompson reviewed the experience – read it via the link in our bio. #PolyglotTheatre#ZoosVictoria#MelbourneZoo#SafeCatSafeWildlife
‘Dinosaur skeleton with bionic parts in robotic style, which has red eye in the eyelids, chip in the brain (because scientists do that to augment bodies) and has a robotic body which you cannot see from outside.’ The 5678 Film Club students have been exploring how they can creatively express their inner essence, away from their current physical form. They have been crafting incredible avatars for themselves, and are now working with the filmmakers (including @adamciancio, @kellyhucker, @blackantfilms and @sassabyfilms) to create an animation, in which all of their avatars come together. #5678FilmClub#PolyglotTheatre
Theatre Craft takes the essential elements of Polyglot’s work and places them in the hands of the students. This workshop can generate ideas and reveal the strengths and imaginative expression of individual students. The discoveries made through this process can offer a different pathway to making a scene or devising work together. Suitable for years 6 – VCE.

#FlashbackFriday. New York City, 2015. “Before the show we did a photo shoot in Times Square… It took a while to round us all up and get us back into the @newvictorytheater!" Read artist Glen Walton’s story on the exciting new Polyglot Story Map – and then add your own! It only takes a couple of minutes and including photos is optional. We’d love to hear from our friends all over the world. Link in bio. #PolyglotTheatre#StoryMap
