I’ve always had this huge affinity to the Aeropress. Not a lot of people know what it is, but those who use it completely understand 🤓
It’s inherently nomadic nature mixed with the ability to literally design and utilize endless recipes using only coffee and water is just mind blowing. I’ve been able to make ridiculously good-tasting brews (often by accident) everywhere from a train in China, to the airport, to the top of a volcano, to on the beach during a bike trip, or even the Shinkansen (that one was quick). Tonight, I’ll be competing for my second time in a regional Aeropress championship, this time in Toronto, and I couldn’t be more psyched. I’m likely to get kicked out first round, but I excited to try my long-developed nomadic-brewing recipe in front of a few folks, and learn some tips from fellow coffee nerds!
If you’re still reading.. come on down to @quantumcoffeeco tonight at 6 for some brews ☕️ and brews 🍺, and if you haven’t gotten your tickets to @beanstockfest this weekend yet, do so now.
Until the show, hasta luego
