The Overwatch League, exclusively on Twitch, began last January 10th.
The League has hosted the first three games of the new phenomenon of eSports and apparently there were 425,000 simultaneous spectators, according to Blizzard.
Although not yet reaching the DOTA 2 numbers, it is a good start for the new championship that the American giant has been promoting for over a year in events like BlizzCon. After all, the competitive shooter already has over 35 million active players.
Not bad, what do you think?
