Today, we want to show our appreciation for Georgia Tech’s Masters of Prosthetics and Orthotics (MSPO) program - @gt_prosthetics. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
This crew is so awesome - they got up early on a Saturday morning to come show their support and participate in our Amp It Up 5k last September. Most of them did not know anything about AAC, but their passion for the field of P&O motivated them to come check out our event. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
In February 2018, the Georgia Institute of Technology MSPO program was deactivated - meaning no further students will be admitted to the program. The last class will graduate in Spring 2019 and then this MSPO program will just be a memory. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
There are only 13 accredited graduate level O&P programs in the U.S. With the number of individuals experiencing limb loss or amputation(s) steadily rising, it’s vital now, more than ever, that we have enough Prosthetists and Orthotists available to provide the care that our loved ones and ourselves deserve.
To show your support, please write a letter encouraging this program’s reactivation. Submit this letter to: email@example.com ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
