It’s #NationGrilledCheeseDay so we’ve made this deliciousness! A grilled cheese Bahn Mi! We spread a roasted garlic butter on thick country white bread then melt a mix of 4 cheeses on it, then we add slices of crispy roasted pork belly, fresh cucumber, pickled veggies, and cilantro. Served we your choice of fries or a salad. Thanks to @eparask#GetHereEatThis
Here we have two grilled cheese sammies, both using @daiyafoods mozzarella and cheddar style shreds.
Joana just had those two cheeses on her grilled cheese sammie with @followyourheart vegenaise instead of vegan butter. For mine, I took about a half cup of the mozzarella style shreds and mixed it with 3 drops of liquid smoke, paprika, and nutritional yeast. Put all of that together and you get awesome crunch from the Vegenaise. Also, on one sandwich, I used stone ground mustard on the outside with the vegenaise, and it was delicious.
Also, instead of tomato soup, we used @muirglen Portobello mushroom pasta sauce, and we had a (huge) side salad, and mango strawberry banana smoothie.
