No. 19 is the German writer Lene Voigt, she lived about 100 years ago and wrote in the dialect of my hometown #leipzig which is called saxonian and doesn't sound very nice. But very funny. CALM YOUR MIND IN THE MORNING ☁️ Do you look at your phone before doing anything else in the morning? If you do, you are flooding your brain with information. Whether it’s looking at social media (comparing yourself to others) checking work emails (worrying about what you have to do before even leaving bed) or reading the news (inherently negative) - none of these are good for your mind. ☁️ Your brain is a delicate organism not designed for constant digital stimulation so rather than overloading it first thing - focus on nature AND the bigger picture. ☁️ Looking at the sky is incredibly calming & reminds you how just like the weather your emotions change. Sit or stand with your feet flat on the floor and look out of a window at the morning sky. As you do these begin to take deep breaths (in through your nose & out through your mouth) You’ll see the wind blowing, clouds moving, the sun changing. ☁️ LOOKING UP is a wonderful way to remind yourself of the bigger picture when you feel consumed with thoughts. Notice how your feeling that morning but see that thought in the sky rather than deeply ingrained in your mind. A sky that is ever changing and moving - just like your mind.
