My best look to date... Injuring my hamstring was the worst thing that he happened to me. Although it could have been much worse from an injury standpoint, from a psychological standpoint it has been terrible. Looking at the results from the show, I wish I would have just sucked it up and done it with a bad hamstring, I know I could have won the men's classic, and still dominated the teens...but it is what it is. So much money, so much time, so many resources and opportunities gone. BUT, I'm training legs again, my workout intensity is pretty much back to where I want it. I'm training harder than ever. I WILL be back... SOON. Shout out to @briannna_sutorius and @johnnyharris_ for keeping me going everyday kicking ass in the gym. This has been a depressing time for me but I'm back and better than ever. Stay tuned 😎

Basically through exercise, there are two ways in which the muscle grows.

The Resistance Phase: (the actual workout you do, and the continual stimulus applied to create more and more growth)
The Recovery Phase: (what you do after the workout to ensure proper growth occurs)

So what are some healthy sources of good protein for a bigger muscle:

Eggs
Skinless Chicken Breasts
Salmon
Tuna
Cottage Cheese
Turkey
Protein Powder
Steak
Beans & Legumes (kidney, chick peas, etc)
Vegetable Burger
Soya Nuts
Virtually Any Fish (not fried)

Carbohydrates:

Brown Rice
Sweet Potatoes
Oats
100% Whole Grain Bread (sparingly)
Low Sugar Breakfast Cereal (sparingly)

Fat:

Contrary to some old stereotypical bad beliefs that are still lingering on — fat does not make you fat. Excess calories and bad foods make you fat, and more prone to getting fat.

Healthy sources of good fats are essential, and can help to actually lose weight or achieve better body composition. Such healthy fat sources include:

Fish Fat/Oils (fish oil pills, salmon fat, etc)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Nuts (almonds, cashews, etc)
Peanut Butter (get the ones that contain only peanuts; typical peanut butter contains harmful additives like hydrogenated oils and sugar)
Almond Butter

Vegetables:

Vegetables contain tons of anti-oxidants, nutrients and other goodies that are essential for a growing booty. You can typically eat as much of these as you want without fear.

Broccoli
Spinach
Tomatoes
Kale
Virtually any dark green vegetable
