One big problem with a lot of info in the fitness/nutrition industry is the shame associated with eating certain things or in a certain way.
It's one of the main reasons people fail at changing their habits or choose not to die altogether.
If you eat junk food, it's going to kill you and people talk down to you about it.
If you bring and eat healthy snacks, now you're "losing too much weight" or you get a "don't get too skinny!"......and people talk down to you about that.
There is a way to properly fuel your body AND not give up everything you love forever.
You can be healthy and eat both kale AND cake. (Trust me, as an eater of kale and cake, I can totally vouch for it! I'm not a doctor, but I could totally play one on TV........) Starvation diets don't work. Super restrictive diets DON'T WORK. In fact, this is a bullet train to failure town and you gaining back all the pounds you lost and having them bring friends to join you in your new location!
What DOES work is sticking to foods that will nourish and heal you from the inside out, knowing your body, and weighing it against the fact that eating two samoas today is NOT going to derail the hard work you've been putting in.
Two BOXES of Samoas, however, and we have to have a chat.
Hearing people's conversations about food that revolve around either quick fixes or these types of drastic measures are the main reason I want to start my #FoodRebelRevolution . Lemme see how I'm gonna amp things up for my April group.
If I missed you in March, come on and join us in April. The convos will be ongoing!
