In May I recorded a cover of Neil Young’s Ohio unaware that the massacre which inspired him to write it had occurred the same month in 1970.
I didn’t release it because it felt wrong to trivialize an event I didn’t know much about. I’m not posting this song anywhere, if you want to hear it, DM me and I can send you the file. There has been a lot of peaceful protesting this summer. I want it to stay that way. Your voices have brought families back together and have begun to turn the culture of male accountability.
