💪Made myself sit and learn instead of playing with Lea this morning. All that sitting made me lethargic and stiff so I threw in an easy workout. Didn't want to push hard as I am tired. Always feel refreshed after a workout. 🔥Basement Burn - Run @ 11km/h for 4 min
- 10 Lateral Sandbag Pushups + 10 Overhead Shoulder to Shoulder Presses w Sandbag which weighs 15kg (about 1 min)
For 30 min
Then run 11km/h till 8km is hit

Crunches till fatigue
Stretch 🍲1@9am - I added more oat cereal to the oatmeal which left me fuller than planned. Darn, I am addicted to that oat cereal.
🍲2@4pm - Not hungry after workout so didn't eat immediately. Cauliflower and chicken. 🍲3@7.15pm - Snacked on a few mini prezels while learning coz craving for salty snacks. I don't like mindless snacking as such but couldn't wait for dinner of Salad, Chicken and Pasta
🍲4@9pm - Peaches, strawberries and wildrasperries 💝Some uninterrupted time to learn when GM brought L to the playground after his work. I'm trying to be patient in deciphering the higher level of the German language coz of the numerous technical words for history, art and architecture.
💝I learnt from GM that while at the playground, she had bumped her chin on a ride which must have hurt badly. She cried a little but didn't brawl. 10 minutes later, she insisted on trying the same ride again. GM observed that she is more watchful and even more determined in mastering it. I hope her zeal and determination will continue to persist especially in situations like today's, when she had a rough (and painful) start.

Doing something that I enjoy doing doesn’t happen very often during the day.
But when kids go to friends house and I have the house all to myself this is one activity I love to do and don’t do it very often.
Sewing is something both my mother and grandmother taught me.
It’s such an amazing feeling to work with a single piece of material and actually make something out of it.

I would honestly add in what you want to have for dinner first and then fill in accordingly :) 3. no matter what - it comes down to choice! YOUR choice to on how you're going to let food and fitness dictate your life. You want a paleo ice cream sandwich? GO LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE!!! And own it.
why?? Because if you allow your weekend decisions to bleed into your week decisions you will forever be battling your own self and feeling trapped in a hampster wheel!
now, must of us KNOW how certain behaviors make us FEEL: like how shitty if feels to be slow during a workout, or craving shit because you're dehydrated from too much fun or moody because your physiological balance is all of. UGH but whyyy!
take charge of how you want to feel - it's OKAY to live your life and be out of your routine and not be perfect with logging and food - it's more about literally doing your best. so that may look like having 1-2 meals prepared by thursday night for you to HAVE ON DECK over the weekend, or it's choosing a healthy option out to eat, or grabbing an ice cream with your kids guilt free - THERE IS NO RIGHT WAY TO GO ABOUT BEING ON TOP OF YOUR GAME during the weekends over the summer. because it's summer and then it's fall and then it's winter and then it's vacation and then it's nice out again and THE LAST thing I want you guys to be thinking is "how do I stay on track through this"
Eat more. Train less. Progress
