What habits do you want to change today? Did you know getting a good nights rest can help your weight loss? I don’t know what a good nights rest is anymore, but I’m going to try to remember. Now that Kingston is in his own room and sleeping through the night, I’m setting the bedtime feature on my phone to remind me to go to bed. .
Starting your morning with 6 healthy habits can help you with weight loss.

💧 Fuel your circulation-Drink 16oz first thing in the morning to jumpstart your metabolism and start burning calories.
📖 Feed your mind-20 minutes of positivity (book, podcast, etc)
💆🏽‍♀️Focus your Power-meditate for 10-15 minutes. There are books or apps to help. 🏃‍♀️ Fire up your metabolism-Move your body. Your body will burn more calories throughout the day if you workout in the morning. If you can’t do your full workout in the morning do something small to get your body moving. Yoga, tabata, jump on trampoline, etc. 🍳 Fortify your health- Eat a healthy breakfast-healthy fats, protein, vegetables. 🚫 carbs like cereal/fruit which stimulates the insulin response and stores energy (fat).
👩🏽‍🚀 Fulfill your mission-what did you accomplish today that moved you toward your big goals? Do something every day that is focused to move you closer to your goals. If you don’t know what that is, take the time to make some big goals and break them down into smaller tasks.

These seem like a lot to do first thing in the morning. Some of them can be combined. Maybe you listen to a podcast during your commute. Maybe you’ll have an easy grab breakfast for your commute. Maybe both!

I received my “getting started” email from my new fitness coach this morning. The first thing on the list was “drink a gallon of water everyday” so this time marked gallon is my response to this! -

I’m determined to do EVERYTHING she tells me to do exactly how she says to do them so I get the absolute best results from this program. If I’m going to invest in myself I want to make sure I’m following the program so I don’t look back and feel as if my investment was a waste. -

I actually used to drink at least a gallon of water everyday but the past month I’ve been SO BAD with my water consumption. I still drink only water but I was drinking MAYBE 24oz per day. I’m not even one day back to drinking a gallon a day and already I notice my want to snack on something lessening. I forgot how much drinking the water your body craves helps with curbing hunger! -

FRIENDLY REMINDER: lots of times when we think we’re hungry, it’s actually our body telling us it needs water!! •

I’ve spent a number of years exercising and working on my body. But it’s never been a consistent routine until about 4 years ago.
And it’s crazy because I’ve done many many at home workout programs but none of them have changed me like the one I’m doing now for the second time!
It’s a program that’s like a personal trainer in your own living room. Building one exercise on another week after week for 80 days. The program has made me strong not only physically but mentally. It’s changed my body in so many ways and made me feel comfortable in my own skin for the first time in years. I am confident and strong and feel AMAZING! ❤️ Consistency and perseverance WILL get you to your goals and it changes you inside and out. It doesn’t happen overnight but it does happen! I’m proof! 💪

Remember to hit all angles of the tricep and know what exercises activate each head the most. Always keep it fresh and mix it up so you are always guaranteed a progressive session each and every-time you smash those bad boys.
