What habits do you want to change today? Did you know getting a good nights rest can help your weight loss? I don’t know what a good nights rest is anymore, but I’m going to try to remember. Now that Kingston is in his own room and sleeping through the night, I’m setting the bedtime feature on my phone to remind me to go to bed. .
Starting your morning with 6 healthy habits can help you with weight loss.
💧 Fuel your circulation-Drink 16oz first thing in the morning to jumpstart your metabolism and start burning calories.
📖 Feed your mind-20 minutes of positivity (book, podcast, etc)
💆🏽♀️Focus your Power-meditate for 10-15 minutes. There are books or apps to help. 🏃♀️ Fire up your metabolism-Move your body. Your body will burn more calories throughout the day if you workout in the morning. If you can’t do your full workout in the morning do something small to get your body moving. Yoga, tabata, jump on trampoline, etc. 🍳 Fortify your health- Eat a healthy breakfast-healthy fats, protein, vegetables. 🚫 carbs like cereal/fruit which stimulates the insulin response and stores energy (fat).
👩🏽🚀 Fulfill your mission-what did you accomplish today that moved you toward your big goals? Do something every day that is focused to move you closer to your goals. If you don’t know what that is, take the time to make some big goals and break them down into smaller tasks.
These seem like a lot to do first thing in the morning. Some of them can be combined. Maybe you listen to a podcast during your commute. Maybe you’ll have an easy grab breakfast for your commute. Maybe both!
