After Lanzini’s possible career-ending injury, £25m for Joao Mario is looking like an attractive deal for Pellegrini.
Mario has said he will not be returning to Inter Milan, and the club is looking for a permanent move, preferably to the Premier League, Mario says.

Swansea have rejected West Ham’s bids for both defender Alfie Mawson and goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski. The size of our bids are unknown, but obviously below Swansea’s valuation of the players, despite their relegation to the Championship.

Mario Arnautovic is looking increasingly likely to transfer to Manchester United this summer despite the £60million price tag slapped on him by West Ham. West Ham are reportedly confident of signing a replacement who’s younger and better but that’s hard to believe; at multiple times last season Arnautovic was unplayable.
£60million doesn’t seem like enough.

Manuel Lanzini has suffered a serious knee injury ahead of the World Cup, leaving him sidelined. He was set to be one of Argentina’s star men this year. Gutted.
Get well soon @manulanzini

Yaya Toure is close to agreeing terms with West Ham. Toure played and won the league under Pelligrini at Man City.
In the past couple of years he has played a reduced role and had issues with manager Pep Guardiola. This, combined with his age (35), causes doubts over his fitness and even his ability.

However, he deserves a chance and if West Ham get the Toure of a few years ago then we’ve bagged ourselves a brilliant box-box midfielder.

Time will tell.

Declan Rice has reportedly turned down a new contract worth £8k per week. His current deal sees him earn only £3k per week. Hopefully the club will stop messing around and hand him a proper wage in line with his teammates or we risk losing the brightest young prospect.

Update: Rice has stated that he wants £30k per week but West Ham have offered him £15k per week.

Nice midfielder Jean Seri has been linked with a move to West Ham. It is reported that West Ham have joined the race with Arsenal and Chelsea for the 26 year old.
He has a £35m release clause in his contract and is looking to head for the premier league.

Ryan Shawcross has been linked with a move to West Ham. The Stoke defender is in the interests of Newcastle, Watford and Cardiff City also.

At 30 years old, Shawcross has peaked and would likely be a back up for the team. Rumours state that he would be a replacement for James Collins.

West Ham are reportedly interested in signing Salomon Rondon of West Brom. He has a clause in his contract allowing him to leave the relegated club for £16m.

The Venezuelan forward has scored 24 goals in 108 premier league appearances and would likely be a back up for Arnautović.

Both Chelsea and Spurs are also interested.

It seems Pellegrini has big plans for Declan Rice next season; the 19 year old will reportedly play as a defensive midfielder in front of a completely revamped back line. A Mr West Ham in the making⚒⚒

Ryan Fredericks has officially joined West Ham⚒⚒

In a Q&A session, Pellegrini revealed that he has given a list of names to the recruitment team at West Ham and they are in talks over several deals.
“We are trying to get the owner to loosen up and make an important investment and thus bring the players we need, the idea is to sign a great figure.”
He explained how he has to try and convince the board at West Ham of the importance of a landmark signing who can pave the way for other arrivals.

West Ham are unwilling to match Javier Pastore’s wage demands (Sky Sports) - Pastore looks set to leave PSG this summer, but his staggering £190,000 a-week wage makes the transfer unlikely.
