I'm lucky enough to have always been relatively flexible, so the splits is not something new to me. The part where I balance while wearing pointe shoes so I can take a selfie is #skills
I had a fabulous time at the Ballet last night. The Quarry amphitheatre is absolutely stunning at sunset and it was great to be invited into the directors circle by one of my gorgeous clients from @thefootstudio who is a ballerina. I’m in absolute awe of how strong and beautiful they are! There are still tickets left if you haven’t seen the show yet @waballet 💃🏼💙❤️ 👗@misterzimi 👠@baredfootwear#highlyrecommend#podiatrist
Ballet off to a good start in 2018. 1) wore my first holes into ballet flats. Finally. I usually try out different brands before my old ones wear out. My Sansha's are for keeps. 2) My new leo's arrived from @elevedancewear and I ❤️them so much. Will be ordering this style again for sure. 3) I'm finally feeling stronger en pointe after my ankle injury last year. I can make it through class without too much pain and I finally felt brave enough to do exercises in the centre. and 4) I held a balance in attitude derrière for at least 10-12 counts AND my teacher @melboniface actually saw it!!! This. Never. Happens. Ever.
