The weather inside of me. ✨
Four years ago I was asked " what colour would you use to describe what the weather inside of you looks like?" at the time my life was in shamble, my own identity was in turmoil, the only answer I managed to formulate was "it's grey". Grey... no vivid colors, no spark.. just grey which is a neutral color, meaning literally that it is a color "without color." It was an honest answer , as I did feel grey.
Recently I had an evening of painting with friends and reminded myself of that answer I had given 4 years ago...without thinking too much I let the paint brush caress the canvas as I set my intention to truly paint what the weather inside of me currently is.....
💥 Burst of colors, vibrancy, living, pushing away that grey, the neutral, the darkness, the oppression, welcoming exploration, connections, self love, finding myself admits obstacles... owning who I am, accepting myself, discovering, loving who I have become, leaning from my mistakes, growing...
I can truly say that the weather inside of me is no longer grey, it is magnificent, it is becoming, it is free to be. ✨💃🏽 •
