Day 31 | Motivated Women 💪🏽
Last year August I had an amazing opportunity to talk about education, my business and women empowerment on @lesedifm, a household radio station I grew up listening to. During the interview I was asked a very important question: "What are you currently doing to empower the young ladies in your hometown and community?", which at that point I answered: "Nothing really, as I am still working on myself." I also mentioned how I had been getting requests from really lovely and bright young ladies seeking mentorship and how I help where I can but do not take on an official role as their mentor, simply because I was not ready. Well, still am not. However the interview motivated me to actually step out of my comfort zone and do something that would illuminate the empowerment of women in my hometown. The first step in achieving this, was to deliver the First Class on Your Becoming Master Class in Bethlehem and I believe it was a beautiful success. I understand that it does not just end there, there is still more to do... and while there's still more to do, I have accepted that there is still more to do for myself as well, more to learn and more to work on before I can actually work on others and I have never been more motivated to do so!
