Thank you for everyone who came out and volunteered at the Latino Conservation Week Peralta Creek clean-up. With your assistance, we removed invasive plants from the creek, picked up garbage, and filled raised planter boxes with new clean dirt. The Anza Trail appreciates all your hard work and dedication and we look forward to seeing you on the trail soon!

You can’t be sad while riding a bicycle. 🚴🏽♀️ We went on a bike ride along San Antonio’s Mission Reach at 8am this morning. It is gorgeous! And being with friends old and new makes all the difference. 💜 We are under heat advisory and it should absolutely be taken seriously. * Stay hydrated. If you know you will be outdoors tomorrow, start hydrating today. * Listen to your body. If you feel like you’re getting a headache or feeling dizzy, stop and cool down and even get help. * Find shade wherever you can. Stay out of direct sunlight when possible. * Take frequent breaks. Drink water. Have a snack. ☀️ Our ride was a part of Latino Conservation Week. I greatly appreciate the green spaces in our community. Queridos, enjoy your green spaces and parks. They are for you. 🌿
