“We can’t direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails.” President Thomas S Monson —
A few years ago, I wasn’t in a happy place. —
I wanted to enjoy motherhood. I knew my life as a stay at home Mom was a blessing. But I struggled to find joy in the every day, to not feel like I was somehow messing everything up, and I most definitely felt inadequate in every aspect of wife and Mom life.
I woke up feeling resigned to a dark cloud , I avoided spending time with friends, and I wasn’t able to shake the feeling. —
I wasn’t myself, and what scared me more was that I wasn’t sure who I was anymore. —
I had the hardest time wanting to take care of me, but when it came down to it, that was the missing piece. —
Fast forward three years or so. —
My lifestyle is exactly what I’ve created it to be—I make the effort to care for myself spiritually, mentally, and physically every day. —
I’m still faced with winds blowing hard against me, but I’ve got my sails adjusted in a way that helps me stay the course. —
Say positive affirmations and write down things I’m grateful for.
Get some exercise in.
Eat healthy food.
Fuel my mind with something uplifting. —
I took things that I knew helped me function more happily as a mom and made them something that was vital to my day as a mom. —
Now it’s not just my lifestyle, it’s part of my job! 😍🙌🏻 —
This month I’ve got 10 🙌🏻 mentorship spots available to teach you how to create a lifestyle you love! ❤️ —
