Sharing 'J is for Jamboree' seemed fitting this morning after we started the day with a whole-family dance party (to the eternally catchy Moana soundtrack). Toddler dancing is the most hilarious thing to behold, not to mention my own dancing air-man impression.
Taken from the BabyLit alphabet primer 'V is for Vittles' by Greg Paprocki. Each page is a gorgeously illustrated snapshot of 19th-century American 'Wild West' life. Featuring words like 'ignite', 'engineer' and 'gallop', each page is a conversation-starter. But the star would have to be Greg Paprocki's incredible line work and dynamic character design. Like a minimalistic Mary Blair, he playfully weaves together vignettes of western life in two-tone simplicity. The illustrations really are something else!
