Think of a time in your life that you've intentionally SOUGHT OUT to compare yourself to another person....his or her life, her booty, his pecs, his career or car, their house, her 💍 ring, her hair, eyebrows or implants lol.
Now tell me the # of times THAT'S ended well 🙄.
The # of times you felt AWESOME about yourself afterwards. Never. Right? You likely felt empty, worse, more self conscious, upset, lost, less enthusiastic about your own path, even more guilty for eating those Skittles... about a week ago 🎶 and on and on. WHY? BECAUSE even the act of intentional comparison carries negative weight.
I have nothing against looking to other people for inspiration, motivation, some realness- but don't put a huge dent in your own self-worth as a result of another persons life, what stage they're in or their scripted IG page. Someone else's (often times "supposed") success or achievement is NOT your failure.
