Competition based solely of your physical symmetry is a tough gig. It’s really not maintable.. unless you’re superwoman (and some of you are 😂) but I learnt pretty quick that ‘abs’ wasn’t a motivating goal to keep me on the path of chicken and asparagus. Ice cream was just saaa delicious after I got my wisdom teeth out right after comps 🍦🍦🍦 .
The thing about a physical goal is that you see yourself everyday, so progress is slow (and sometimes draining).. but when you set achievable goals, you know, those realistic ones 🏋🏽♀️ then the journey is fun, enjoyable, challenging and rewarding 🤗 .
Like increasing your weight load to work towards a heavier 1rm. Or aiming to do even 1 chin up body weight (or 20!) or maybe beating that fit person at the gym that isn’t THAT far in front of you 😉 (healthy competition is good if it betters you 😜) But seriously. Your health and fitness is super important. FIT will always be in fashion 👙🤳🏼💄💪🏽 🔹
