I woke up at 5 am from a gazillion itchy bug bites on my legs this morning so I’m a weeee bit tired 😜
Real thoughts 👇🏼
Elimination diets aren’t meant to be permanent.
You’re not supposed to be strict “anything” forever.
You don’t need to be Whole 30 for your entire life.
You don’t need to give up dairy, gluten, and sugar only to never eat them again.
I get it.
I lived with IBS-C for years (like all my life) before I even realized being chronically constipated wasn’t normal.
So I GET hat healing your gut is important.
It’s SUPER important to heal your gut.
It’s essential to our health, happiness, overall well-being.
You need to do it.
But you don’t need to eliminate everything forever in order to do it.
You have to find YOUR balance.
1️⃣figure out what foods trigger your symptoms
2️⃣avoid them for a while to allow your gut to heal
3️⃣manage your stress
4️⃣practice wellness in all areas of your life (sleep, movement, relationships, etc)
5️⃣experiment with adding foods back in to see how you feel
6️⃣CONTINUE TO FIND BALANCE IN HEALTH AND HAPPINESS UNTIL YOU HAVE YOUR MORE CONTENT SELF 😍
7️⃣check in with yourself (and an accountability partner if you can) to make sure you’re not letting restriction rule your life 🙌🏼 -
you can have a healthy gut and poop normally without publishing yourself and living with food fear, just saying. -
