Here’s the thing. When you look at social media you see a highlight reel! We all deal with ups and downs, life throws curveballs and we deal with some serious shit!! You can be 100% assured I’ve been through my fair share of shit. With more to come! .
The question is how you handle it when it happens though. Will you allow that shitty thing to dictate your day? Your week? Your year? Or will you do what I do:
I allow myself my 5 min but THEN it’s time to just do the best you can. When you put in your very best effort in any given situation you can rest assured that the outcome, as much as you can affect it, will be the best it possibly can. And when you know, you’re getting the best possible outcome (whether that’s factually amazing or just less shitty) you can CHILL! You did all you could do! Applying any sort of negative emotion at that point is wasted energy and we don’t what that right?! So take those 5 min, take a deep breath, give your best, and smile 😁
