JAL and ANA flight meal sometimes include udon or soba. These noodle are all sodium free but taste good! I need to take care of my husband now because he catches cold. So I cooked warm Somen with an egg and vegetables this morning. He also likes eating somen with KIKKOMAN soy sauce and Japanese sesame oil. They are so easy to cook, so it’s helps me a lot when my husband asks me to cook noodle for his night snack or dinner than other food menu. When you boil noodle with a lot of hot water and wash well later with cold water before cooking them with other sauce, most of sodium will be removed and they are healthy carb. You can also use soba instead of pasta. 🍝 please try😛

Butternut squash, spinach and ricotta stuffed shells with a mushroom and butter sauce📸👍🍄🧀🥒🍁🌿

Filling:Combine 1cp Butternut squash cubed, 1 bunch spinach chopped, 1/4cp of milk, + ground sage and salt. Cook in a sauce pan on medium stirring and mashing til thickened but smooth; add in crispy crumbled bacon. Cool for five minutes then add in 1cp ricotta cheese

Sauce: combine butter, a sprinkle of brown sugar and ground sage in a pan on low, stir frequently. .
Put the mixture inside of the cooked shells. Layer stuffed shells in a pan, top with mushrooms. Drizzle with the sauce and bake at 375 for 12 minutes

Here's my first new meal creation since we moved into the new house: Orcecchiette with Roasted Butternut Squash and Kale in a Lemon, Butter, Sage Sauce. I have a little admission to make. My rubbed sage was nowhere to be found in the spice cabinet and I didn't want to run to the store for just one item, so I got creative and crushed some white sage I keep for smudging. Smoked SALMON SUNDAY with LEMON DILL TAHINI PASTA and “cheesy” crispy kale. •
Deets: smoked salmon, kale roasted with herbs, salt and nutritional yeast (roasted on 400 for 15 mins and tossed in ingredients and a little olive oil), tomatoes, olives and mung bean pasta in this delicious sauce. Sauce: 1/3 cup soomfoods tahini, handful of dill, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 2 tablespoon lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon liquid aminos, 1 tablespoon coconut aminos, 2 cloves garlic, 1/3 cup of water. Blend until smooth and add more water if needed. •

Sitting in the underground on my way home from the yogastudio and dreaming of this super yummy pasta dish we cooked yesterday. Macaroni with pumpkin sauce, oven roasted hokkaido, spinach and homegrown fried sage leaves - all local, seasonal, organic and vegan 🌱

Tonight’s dinner after a long, busy day was from our @goustocooking box (we’re trying out their recipes for a change this month and so far so good!)🤗 This was Chilli & Garlic King Prawn Linguini. I love pasta and this went down a treat. High in protein and not too high in calories for a decent portion (around 400) means it was a yes from me!🍝👌🏼

My daughter said that it was okay that I post this picture of her eating pasta as long as it was it was going to help people stay healthy. Pasta is one of her favorite foods, and she is gluten-sensitive, as many other people are. Now pasta is definitely not on my list of healthy stuff, but being healthy is not always about depriving yourself. It's about finding healrhier alternatives to the things that we like! In this case the pasta is made out of green lentils which is way better than wheat flour. It's gluten-free, has protien, lots of fiber, and as long as you're not trying to lose weight is an excellent alternative to regular pasta.
I can barely tell the difference between regular pasta and this one, especially when I put some vegetable marinara sauce on it. Enjoy!

PASTA CON SALSA DE KÉFIR:
INGREDIENTES:
✔️ Macarrones de trigo sarraceno.
(Entre 70-100 gramos por pax).
✔️ Champiñones.
✔️ Bolitas de mozzarella fresca.
✔️ Nueces.
✔️ Espárragos verdes.
SALSA:.
✔️ Kéfir.
✔️ Limón.
✔️ Pimienta negra , aceite y sal.
✔️ Hierbas provenzales.
PREPARACIÓN:
- Mezclar todos los ingredientes de la salsa y reservar.
- Hacer los espárragos a la plancha y reservar.
- Cocinar la pasta unos 10 minutos, enfriar y mezclar con los champiñones bien limpios y laminados (van en crudo), las bolitas de mozzarella y las nueces picadas. - Añadir la salsa a lo anterior, mezclar bien y servir.
- Decorar con los espárragos.

CREAMY VEGAN PUMPKIN PASTA!!!💥🎃🍂 plant-based pumpkin mac pasta sauce made with whole foods gluten-free organic chickpea pasta shells🤭 this pumpkin pasta sauce is POPPIN’ and made with only 10 INGREDIENTS 🙌🏼 gahhh, it’s SO gooey, SO good, and it only takes like two minutes to make! current status: 🤪

pumpkin pasta sauce ingredients:
1/4 cup cashews (soak overnight)
1/4 cup full-fat coconut milk (refrigerated)
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1/4 tsp onion powder
pinch pink salt
dash black pepper
pinch turmeric (optional)
1/2 garlic clove (minsed)
1 tbsp EVOO
top w/ paprika ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
directions: soak cashews overnight in 1 cup water, drain next day, then add to vitamix with 1/4 cup water, coconut cream (from top of can), pumpkin puree, nutritional yeast, and spices listed above. then blend on high until smooth and creamy for approx. two mins. heat a saucepan with a tbsp evoo, add mince garlic, and sauté for a little. pour pumpkin pasta sauce into saucepan, then stir and add in your cooked chickpea pasta shells (used an 8oz box). mix the magic together, make a pretty bowl, and top off your fish & kale chips creamy pumpkin pasta with some paprika, black pepp, and/or crushed red pepp. finally, fork it up fishes 😛 HAPPY. MONDAY.
