In Memoriam: Mildred Hillary Davis Lloyd (February 22, 1901 - August 18, 1969) it's been 48 years ago on this day Mildred passed away.
Mid was pretty, almost doll like. Her appearance as Lloyd's leading lady started "From Hand To Mouth" (1919) any many other films, up to her last film "Safety Last" (1923) then suddenly agreed to become Harold's wife at home in Greenacres. Mid was to all her knew was a delightful person with a keen sense of humor, with an infectious giggle. A Mother who raised three children Gloria, Peggy and Harold Jr. At home in Greenacres, Mid loved entertaining hosting numerous parties and dinners for their many friends. In the last 20 years of her life, Mildred helped raise her granddaughter Suzanne. Mildred's 46 year marriage to Harold was one of the longest in Hollywood show business, Mid was devoted to her husband. Mildred died on August 18th, 1969...Harold was overwhelmed. He quote "I've lost bride" he said. Mildred is just not Harold Lloyd's leading lady, but his wife for 46 years, a woman threw both frivolity and difficulty remained by Harold's side. #RIPMildredDavis #remember #MildredDavis #silentbeauty #angel #oldhollywood #HaroldLloyd #wife #mother #leadinglady #inmemory #Greenacres #hollywood #mrsharoldlloyd #forestlawnmemorialpark #HaroldAndMildred #hollywooldactress #actresslife #vintage 💕🙏
