Today’s Chest and Triceps session and killer dance moves. 6 days out and not changing anything other than not training legs hard or cardio this week, will probably go in for very light squats on Tuesday just to keep things moving. I am going to skip my PM weight session this week as well for extra rest and train through Thursday, with weigh in on Friday. I have to be careful because my weight was 246 after carb up this AM and need to be 237, which shouldn’t be an issue, I don’t want to mess with my water, but might have to a little bit on Friday, which is not ideal. I am a big believer in doing the things that got you there, there are no magic tricks or miracles - just hard work and consistency. -

I hear people make excuses everyday. You don't want to put in the work and do what it takes to be the best? You don't want to walk into a gym and work harder than everybody else in there? Fine. But don't come complaining to me when you haven't reached your goals. Because whether or not you succeed comes down to you. I can't make you work. I can't make you go into the gym and train legs with so much intensity that you literally have to crawl off the machine. I can't make you work until your shirt is soaked with sweat. It's all on you. You either want it or you don't. Simple.

One thing I always thought was "protein is protein", but I never stopped to learn and educate myself on what protein is really optimal for building muscle.

There's a difference in proteins you use throughout the day that have to be digested and broken down for assimilation and the ones that are specifically made for flooding the muscles with amino acids!
-
Some key factors when picking the correct post workout supplementation:
1. First and foremost your body wants to survive and protein can't supply your body with that. You need to add in a fast acting carbohydrate: glucose, dextrose, etc. By adding this in, you are going to reload muscle glycogen, spike insulin for proper protein transportation and always put your body back into a state of building!
2. Identifying a "Whey Protein Isolate". Making sure it's hydrolyzed at 100% (pre-digested), and aiming for quality processing methods like "Cross Flow Micro-Filtration" and "Low temperature processing". This means cleaner, more bioavailability and no harsh chemical/high heat exposure.

You wouldn't want a burnt chicken breast and rice for a meal, so why would you want it for your recovery shakes?

This is the stack that really "Builds muscle" for all you filthy animals who wanna grow muscle, or even lean out faster.
