iRest® Yoga Nidra is a simple, guided meditation that anyone can do and is practiced in savanasa (lying down). As the body is relaxed, we become increasingly aware of our inner world. It enables us to live life more connected to the well-being always present within us, by helping us step back from whatever overwhelms us and deconstruct the layers of identification we all take ourselves to be. .
Yoga Nidra creates space for us to experience a shift in perspective, and we learn that even in the midst of constant change, there is a part of us that remains at peace. Essentially, it’s deep relaxation combined with inner awareness.

This 2.5 hour workshop will include more information about the iRest Yoga Nidra practice itself, pranayama breathing, movement, guided iRest Yoga Nidra meditation, and tools for participants to integrate the practice into daily living.
