Friendship is proven by taking off the honor that rightly belongs to you and investing it into another. It is giving up the right to be right for the sake of covenant. It is holding them close when it would be simpler to cut them off. It is loving someone enough to protect, support, encourage, and defend them, in front of their face and behind their back. It is telling the truth in love so that even if your words hurt, they ultimately heal. It is seeing who God has created them to be and reinforcing that call every chance you get. We often demand great friends when we ourselves are subpar. Let’s change that! Find a way this week to remind your tribe that you see them. You know who they are. You cherish them. And, that you will ride with and for them despite the obstacles. Want good friends? Be a good friend. We reap what we sow. 💛#daughtersandvessels
