Ever since seeing my friend Anna record herself during lifts to review her technique, I’ve found myself doing it more often. Since then, it’s shown me a lot of the little mechanical fixes my coaches have been trying to get through to me.
Watching this video, and others, I can see little improvements mechanically that I’m excited about. I’m moving both feet into a wider stance for catching underneath the bar, my shoulders are more active, and I’m getting under the bar rather than thinking on it.
I also love posting the fails when they happen because they show me more of what I need to do to improve. Overall, I need to be more aggressive on the pull and get a little faster getting under the bar.
Little by little, I’ll get there.
