Sometimes you just need some good ol’ BBQ chicken. I’ve always had issues getting sauce to stick to chicken breasts because there isn’t anything without the skin to attach to. But I finally figured it out!
Brine your chicken breasts in salt water with whatever seasonings you’re going to use. I used #FlavorGod honey bbq, garlic powder, and pepper. Once brined, take out and rinse/dry. Then season again and grill. When the chicken is maybe 5 or so minutes from being done, slather one side with BBQ sauce, close lid, let caramelize, and then flip and repeat. To make the BBQ sauce, I took plain BBQ sauce, honey, brown sugar, and minced garlic, and brought it to a boil in a pan. That seemed to also thicken my BBQ sauce a bit more too.
