A couple of yoga stretches after a morning run. I didn't go too far this morning, only about 3.5km. But I was testing out my calf muscle. Good news no twinges so should be good to go on Friday. It will be good to get back on track. My hamstrings are stiff and tight after the Mondays workout, a good example how I really pushed it! I'm a little tender after yesterday's upper body workout, probably be sore tomorrow. Should be a HIIT tonight! Love it!
It's Wednesday which means my free lunch. I go out with lunch buddy and have what ever I want. I look forward to these lunches each week. Breakfast was my usual porridge and I have fruit and nuts in my bag for snacks. Because lunch is usually so big, I go light on dinner.

Feels good to be back on track, even if it's only day 3 haha.

It’s so strange looking back at my progress, because I didn’t realise how much my body has changed since I restarted my training in 2016. (Dec 16 to Sep 17)....as well as how much I just embraced my natural self.....less make up, better curls & a bit of sun never hurt 😉😂
.
For me....my gym training has always been about building strength rather than achieving aesthetic goals....abs are never something I have trained for & I’ve always trained to build mass rather than lose weight.
.
My metabolism is naturally ridiculously high & when I stop eating my training diet, I actually lose weight rather than put it on. Which a lot of people think is a blessing, but when your goals are to build & condition.....this can be really frustrating.
.
This comparison has really helped to motivate me & to see that I am progressing in the right direction. It’s hard to notice the little differences when you look at yourself everyday. But it always happening! Trust the process and put in your best efforts.....success will be yours 💪🏽❤️ xXx

Se riuscite a respingere un pallone di 6 kg da posizione prona a terra.. dopo aver chiuso una serie di 8 ripetizioni di back squat con 52 kg... la prossima partita sicuramente è già vinta.

I made an attempt at 115lbs for my bench press yesterday...this would be 10lbs over my original personal record (PR) at the meet a few months ago😳
So, I worked up to my goal weight, failed twice and then went back to 105lbs...and then up to 110lb!! And, ya...it might be a U.G.L.Y. one, and it’s no 115, but it’s still more than I’ve ever benched in my life. So like...I WIN🥇
You Guys, it’s crazy/fascinating/weird how heavy 5lbs can all of a sudden be!! And of course you have to think about your physical/mental self too. Like, did I get enough sleep? Uh...nope. Was my bod properly fueled? Uh...nope🤷🏼‍♀️ But what trips me out the most is how heavy your brain can make that 5lbs feel like 50. I KNOW I have 115lbs in me. I just have to get my silly noggin’ to trust my able body 🤪 Happy Tuesday, Dudes! Go get some shit done today. Bye! Xoxo
