Back with my trainer tonight who put a few things into perspective for me and why my body is still processing what I have just put it through.. I didnt realise that it can take your body about a month to fully recover for a distance like 30km. You know what, I could definately tell that my body is not at full strength and will need to give it all the time it needs. By no means does that mean to stop training, it just means I need to listen to my body more and to take the training as it comes. Also, I feel a bit better after she took me for a stretch, jesus it hurt - but its a good hurt!
P.S. I am purchasing all my photos from the event.. these onea deserve to be hung on a wall!

I jokingly call myself the ugly duckling story. I was the kid and teen who got constantly bullied for being fat and alternative. I'm still alternative, but no fat. Some days I feel like I may be going backwards but putting things into perspective makes me realise I'm not going back to that place. I'm the beautiful rebel swan now hehe 😘
Eating out or at a social event? Doesn’t mean you have to make poor diet choices. If your serious about your health and training - 🚩 avoid high carb foods 🚩 get salad, this will fill you! 🚩 go for a high protein low fat meat - chicken, steak, fish 🚩 take your own sauces, these tend to be hidden with high sugars/carbs
