✌🏼 I saw this great exercise to work the hollowbody hold and thought I'd try it out and it's great! So what should you think about when performing it?

📝 (1) Start by entering a planche lean, meaning locked out arms, hollow position and leaning forward while tilting your pelvis. (2) Start leaning backwards while maintaining the connecting with the core and back. (3) Reach final position still keeping the core tight and hollow position.

🤔 This is super difficult, trust me guys. Especially to maintain the connecting in the back when at the bottom! So don't be discuraged if you can't hold it at all first, start by going as far as you can hold it and maintaining that connection with the back.

🤷🏼‍♂️How many reps should you do? I'd say, perform 3 reps with maximum hold at bottom x3 sets, go for quality. Take much time in between and really work that connection.

6 easy paced, humid (91%) , rainy miles for today. My 1st run since my half on Sunday , my legs are feeling good and wanted to fly but I kept the pace in the 8:40's. On Sunday I put my 31st half in the books so today on #transformationtuesday I'm taking a look back to where it all began! 😊 Left me in 2009' the day I ran my 1st half - hands down the warmest half I've ever run mid 80's in April but I pushed through finishing in 2:25 & accomplishing something I never imagined possible! 😊 Right, this past Sunday - hot (71 degrees), humid (91%) - the second hottest half I've ever run & if you know me way - heat/humidity & I don't get along very well. I've had bad experiences racing in heay.. Needless to say I went into this race with one goal - to stay safe (not dehydrate or faint). I put all goals aside & focused on listening to my body! I finished in 1:44:24 - in heat & humidity staying comfortable & in tune with my body the whole time. That day, I conquered less than ideal weather & still ran my fastest #halfmarathon in 5 years putting my 25th of 31 sub 1:45 half marathons in the books & for that I am so proud!! I know I have faster in me but Sunday was all about staying safe & I am so proud of myself for staying disciplined & still running a strong race. 😊 Sometimes it's tough to change your goals because of less ideal race conditions, as runners we are all competitive & constantly want more & more but sometimes more isn't always best! Don't forget to listen to your body - you know yourself better than anyone. 💖💕 Remember every run no matter how fast or slow makes us stronger!! 💪I run to be stronger than the girl I was yesterday! #irunthisbody #strongereveryday #runnersrepost #teamwr #teamenertor #racenewportnj

Hey everybody! Just getting back into my routine after all the packing, moving and finding a place in Mumbai. Getting back into the groove which means you'll see and hear a lot more from me from today on.
I've thought of doing some diet related posts this week. Rather than doing a very long post I'm going to share a tip or two everyday. So let's look at today's tip. ☺️ Now dieting isn't a challenge when you begin. The challenge comes after a few weeks (or maybe days) when you can’t manage another day of depriving yourself of your favorite tasty foods. But it can be done. -
The key is to know the tricks and tools you can use to make your next diet feel like you aren’t missing much at all.
One tip is to Prep, Prep, Prep!!!
You must have a plan. Know where each meal is going to come from long before you need it. Don’t expect to make great food choices when you’re famished. Most of your meals should be home made to ensure clean cooking.

Even if you’re 100% dedicated, there will be times when you can’t avoid eating at a restaurant. Never assume that your food will be prepared in the cleanest way. Tell the waiter/chef exactly what you want. Speak out, so they can deliver a diet-friendly meal to your table.

Spice up you food with cinnamon, turmeric, pepper or some hot sauce to add life to an otherwise boring diet fare and provide a few health benefits too.

💁🏻Поговорим сегодня об одном из многосоставных (базовых) упражнений на ноги - ФРОНТАЛЬНОЕ ПРИСЕДАНИЕ 💪🏻
⭕️И так, чем оно отличается от классического приседания со штангой на плечах?
1. Ну, во-первых- положение штанги. Данный вариант позволяет частично снять нагрузку с поясницы, а вертикальное положение тела позволяет избежать заваливания корпуса вперёд.
2. И второе- в отличие от обычных приседаний, в данном упражнении акцент больше направлен на проработку прямой мышцы бедра и латеральной широкой мышцы, но это не значит, что остальные мышцы не работают. В роли вспомогательных мышц вступают и ягодичные, и икроножные, а также подколенные сухожилия.
💢 Данное упражнение подходит как для тех, кто нацелен на формирование мышечной массы, так и для тех, кто хочет похудеть, так как данное упражнение является очень энергозатратным. 🙆🏻Немаловажно разнообразить свои тренировки, так что вот вам один из вариантов 😜
‼️ Многие девочки бояться работать с отягощением, обосновывая это тем, что не хотят быть "перекаченными мужиками". Поверьте, железо никогда из вас мужика не сделает, конечно если вы не принимаете фармакологию. Веса только помогут вам сделать красивые объёмы и придать подтянутость и тонус телу. Приседать без веса и надеяться, что у вас вырастут ягодичные очень наивно: мышцу надо шокировать, чтоб она росла.
