I have decided to take part in @lewishowes #greatnesschallenge 💫
Post an image or video about who you are and what you want to create in the world. This is your vision.
I am Verity in London, founder of the SEASALT (Stop Existing And Start Actually Living Today) plan. A 10 step, 20 minute a month, plan to help you let go of the past, feel more fulfilled in the present and develop a stronger mind for the future.
My vision is to provide an accessible and affordable opportunity for individuals to take control of their own mental health, whether that be as a prevention or a cure. There is little or no funding when it comes to mental health, across most of the world, and cultural and society developments mean it's becoming more and more of a problem.
I want to help people learn how to live every single day to its fullest and how to keep going when things get really damn hard. I've had a challenging 30 years and experienced enough pain points to last 10 lifetimes, but I feel blessed as it's allowing me to look back, join all the dots, and package all my teachings into bitesized chunks for all to access. 🐚
My vision is a world where people can get the mental health support they need without 3 month waiting lists or having to pay £100's for an hour long session.
But more importantly I hope that as a human race we can learn off each other to make life the best it can possibly be, practise gratitude, appreciate the little things, raise our awareness - and ultimately prevent mental health issues occurring in the first place.
The photo...my landlord asked me to put a sign in the window so the window cleaner knew which one to clean. My bedroom window is parallel with a train track so I thought it was a great opportunity to spread some love too 💖#thelittlethings
