This was another one of those bands that I came across via MySpace. I can't remember how I stumbled upon them on there but I knew as soon as I heard them that I'd found something great. They were so young and full of energy, I remember having thread conversation on my profile page with them. All I wanted for them to one day come and play in the UK but alas that never happened. The closest I got was watching a live stream of one of their shows and it was still pretty damn good. This is their debut album and at this point they signed to Def Jam was incredible to say the least. One of the most enticing qualities about South Jordan aside from their amazing musicianship was Michael's incredible vocal range whose falsetto was on par with Justin Timberlake. They gave me goosebumps every time I listened to them and although this is the only album they released it's an absolute beauty.
Favourite Track: Hush
I'd give anything to hear the full band version of this but even as an acoustic it's still mind blowing. There's a groove that you can't help dance along to and with all that added sass you've found real winner.
