Some people didn’t understand my post yesterday on “clean” and “healthy” eating so let’s try it another way.
I want to be rich. I make so much money but I am broke. 🤷🏽♂️. It doesn’t matter how much money you make, if you do not spend within your means you will go into debt and eventually go broke. You can work all the triple overtime you want, inherit all the money you want, but if you CONSISTENTLY spend recklessly and more than you can afford, you will NEVER get rich. This is basic math.
This is the same concept as saying I want to lose weight and fat. I eat SO MUCH clean and healthy food but I see no progress. If your goal is to lose weight and fat it doesn’t matter how clean or healthy your diet is, it doesn’t matter if you exercise 8 days a week, 25 Hours a day. If you CONSISTENTLY EAT MORE than your means you will NEVER lose weight and fat. Don’t get caught up in diet fads, magic pills or the latest exercise program.
Of course you can use “healthy” eating as part of your plan to lose weight and fat, but if you don’t understand it’s quantitative value (how many calories it has) then you will potentially never see progress. This is basic science and math.
What are the common high calorie “healthy” items that many of my clients never knew about? Avocados, oils, certain spreads and dressings, grains, nuts and seeds.
No one is saying you can’t have these items. Of course you can. Just be accountable and make sure it fits your lifestyle, goals and preferences. Get it?
Anyway more “healthy and clean” eating for me tonight but I will try to be more controlled than yesterday. Stay tuned!
