There are some amazing food sources of iron such as clams, oats, white beans, dark chocolate, spinach, beef liver, lentils, chickpeas, tomatoes, beef, and cashew nuts.

Iron absorption can also vary based on the source of iron, diet, GI health, the use of medications or supple, and the presence of iron promoters such as Vitamin C.

There are two types of dietary iron. Heme and non Heme.

Heme iron can be found in animal sources such as meat and seafood and is much more easily absorbed by the body. (The bioavailability is upwards of 40%)
-
Non heme iron is found in plants and requires multiple steps in order for the body to be able to properly absorb it. (The bioavailability is only between 2-20%)

Plants contain a higher concentration of iron than animal products, though due to the low bioavailability, iron deficiency is more common in those that don't eat animal products. However, many compounds found in plants (phytates, polyphenols etc. can also inhibit tdd he absorption of iron)

One of the biggest things that can help the absorption of iron is vitamin C (however, vitamin c can be destroyed by cooking)

So the wording of the title is a little weird isn’t it?

There’s a purpose, and here’s why:

Someone asked me in my Q and A on my stories about water being important for fat loss. (As of now, you can still find this in my story, it’ll be there for a few more hours)

Maybe you’ve heard water is important for fat loss. Maybe you’ve heard the same about sleep.
-
It’s true, they are important, but maybe not why you think.
-
You may think that these things have fat burning properties like the fat burners, that you know don’t work, are thought to have.
-
Not really. There’s some arguments about sleep here but forget that, and I’ll mention why.
-
These habits, along with others, are what I would call “adherence habits”. Do they impact fat loss? Yes. But not so much directly as they do indirectly.

Do you get more and better workouts when you’ve slept fully?

Yes.
-
Are you more energetic and motivated when you aren’t dehydrate?

Again, yes.

Is it way easier to eat what you planned when it’s prepped and ready to go?

Way easier.

Does moving more directly mean you lose fat? No, not really, moving more doesn’t mean you’ve reached a calorie deficit. It can help.

The reason I wrote this is to make sure you understand that nothing, aside from reaching a calorie deficit, burns fat directly.

But with consistent *adherence* to your plan being the biggest factor in your fat loss success, you may want to focus on these to make your plan easiest to follow.

Ich bin auch froh wenn jemand im Fitnessstudio auf mich zukommt und sagt das machst falsch oder das kannst du anders besser. Ich mag es nicht wenn jemand zuschaut und lieber über falsche Ausführung lacht.

es war einmal eine Gemüse-Hackfleisch-Suppe mit kleiner Abwandlung inspiriert durch @eatsmarter_de.
Das Rezept war ganz einfach und das Ergebnis hat #maiminime wie mir sehr lecker geschmeckt. 😋
Man benötigt für ca 4 Potionen:
500g mehligkochende Kartoffeln,
2 Karotten,
1 Stange Lauch,
400g Hackfleisch,
800ml Fleischbrühe,
100ml Sahne,
2 EL Öl,
Salz, Schwarzpfeffer und Muksat. That’s it! 😋

@premierprotein chocolate flavor
✨ Raspberries
✨ 1 tbsp @pb2foods chocolate pb
✨ 2 eggs to your liking!

Erbsensuppe in der Low Carb Ernährung?
Na klar... ➡ Hier kommt die Zubereitung:
1 Stück Sellerie
1 Zwiebel
1/4 Stange Lauch
1 Möhre

1 kleine Dose Erbsen
600 g TK-Erbsen

Erbsen aus der Dose und die Hälfte der TK-Erbsen pürieren.

Lauch, Möhre, Sellerie und Zwiebel würfeln. Zwiebeln in Butter anschwitzen und restliches Gemüse zugeben. 1 Liter Gemüsebrühe aufgießen und die pürierten Erbsen und die restlichen Erbsen zugeben.
Wem es zu dickflüssig ist, gibt nochmal 500 ml Wasser hinzu.

2 Cabanossi in Scheiben schneiden und in die Suppe geben.
Die Suppe 20 Minuten köcheln lassen und immer wieder gut umrühren. Mit Salz, Pfeffer, Brühe abschließend.
Ein Klecks Creme fraiche und Petersilie runden alles ab.
