Generally speaking, decline is much easier than flat bench for most people. The reason lifters arch their back is because it creates a decline angle for the flat bench press. Try building your strength on decline and witness the magic.

Time to get back to being an athlete! -
I hate the stereotype that bodybuilders are not functional. It may not be the norm but i love being different. -
Every year I set these goals for myself trying to hit a new PR or bring a better package on stage. Unfortunately, some part of my training always falls away as I obsess over size, strength, or conditioning. Well now it’s time to switch it up and throw it all together. Can I be the best at everything training this way, maybe and maybe not.. but regardless, I’ve come to find that balance is the only way to really be able to enjoy this, or anything for that matter. -
Once I get back to training, I’ll definitely be posting more content like this again, along with my bodybuilding, CrossFit, or whatever else @paulie_rocket has in store for me. Either way, Paul will have me performing and looking better than ever before. And you guys will be able to see the full process (and all the epic fails of me eating dirt trying to be athletic)🙃
