Happy Friday! First rest day since Monday and i must admit it was great to sleep in this morning 🤣 I have a weird pain in my right bicep which is annoying because it's painful. I hope that the next three days will give me a break from this pain. 😕I received the foam roaller I was waiting for so I did a quick 10 min roll & recover. 💪🏻

Oh my, yes, that’s a river of sweat dripping down my face. Once again, @loriharder kicked my ass during #day5 of #lh7daychallenge. 😓 💦

Not going to lie. The last thing I wanted to do was a workout when I got home from work, kids screaming, blah, blah, blah. Was basically having a self pity moment. Then I realized I’m the only one hurting myself by not doing it! So I put on my big girl shoes and got down to business and had a great workout! #day5 #lh7daychallenge is in the books! Thanks for inspiring @loriharder now for a nutrient dense protein shake and some down time!

Guess what?! 😅 It’s still light outside and my #day5 @loriharder #lh7daychallenge workout is complete! This boy of mine was so excited to do it with me but he was hard to take a picture with 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

#LH7DayChallenge and #Day5 Finished! After working out 5 days in a row I expected to be really sore for today’s workout, but it was the complete opposite. My body just jumped right in! Such a huge change from my past habits. I normally do long intense workouts and I’m sore for days and dreading the next one knowing my muscles would scream. 💪🏻🥊 I’m happy I tried something completely different. I was SO skeptical about 20 minute workouts and convinced it wouldn’t do a thing... 💡it’s the total opposite. I feel light and limber and full of energy! Who knew! Today’s Mantra: I FINISH EVERYTHING. 2 days to go! (Also my thumb got cut out- it’s really Day 5!) #lorihardertribe

Today’s word is ACCOUNTABILITY! Last night we had our biweekly tribe meeting & these beautiful, supporting & motivating women all held me accountable for my goals. They pushed me to dive deep & find my true authentic self. Today’s workout felt long (even though it was only 20 minutes) and I had already spent hours woodworking in the garage, but I got it done because of the support these ladies give me💞Those bicep curls were MUCH appreciated mid-workout👌Lori Harder you have created a space for women to support women & this tribe embodies that to the fullest! #day5 #lh7daychallenge #atribecalledbliss @loriharder

It's more about how you finish than how you start. I didn't have any interest in aworkout today but I chose to crush #Day5 of #lh7daychallenge and I'm so glad I showed up. Plus who doesn't love some prop and wardrobe coordination?

#Day5 of @loriharder #lh7daychallenge killed it with a whole lot of squats, plank and arm exercises. I tend to focus on cardio when I do my own workouts, so having Lori's guided strength training workouts has been a nice change! Definitely excited to incorporate more of it after this week's challenge is over. I'm noticing I'm much more toned, and my upper body strength is coming back 🙌🏻⠀

Papas🥔 al horno con ghee, carne de nuez, brócoli y queso de nueces de la india se los juro que es una digna receta de viernes, vean en las historias como luce la carne de nueces porque aquí no se aprecia lo suficiente; ahí les van los ingredientes:
Lavas bien las papas 🥔 las partes por la mitad, las picas con un tenedor y les pones sal, las cubres con papel aluminio y las metes al horno hasta que estén cocidas, pones a cocer el brócoli a vapor con una pizca de sal
Carne de nuez de Castilla:
1 taza de nueces de Castilla crudas
1 cucharada de vinagre balsámico
1/2 cucharada de aminos
3/4 de cucharada de comino
1 cucharada de cilantro fresco
Paprika, pimienta y sal al gusto, al procesador y pulsa varias veces hasta que la mezcla quede en pequeños trozos, cuida de no procesar en exceso
Queso de nueces de la India:
1 taza de nueces de la india, crudas, remojadas desde la noche anterior
1/4 taza de agua
3 cucharadas de levadura nutricional
1 limón
1 cucharada de vinagre de manzana
1/2 cucharadita de sal de mar y al procesador hasta que tenga la consistencia de crema
(La verdad es que yo todos los ingredientes se los voy ajustando a mi gusto, pruebo y agregó más si así lo considero)
Cuando las papas salen del horno les unto un poco de ghee, les pongo la carne de nuez, el brócoli, el queso de nueces y un poco más cilantro fresco.
Las 🥔 son una excelente fuente de vitaminas C y B6, magnesio, hierro y calcio. Las nueces de Castilla contienen ácidos grasos omega 3, para tu ❣ y el brócoli añade un poco de protección contra el cáncer y propiedades antiinflamatorias.
