Originating in LA I believe, Lemonade made its way up to Palo Alto around last summer. I first came here with my friend, Naya, but I haven’t really been since. I thought it was pretty good before, but today, when I went, it was surprisingly delicious. We got the blood orange with blue butterfly flower tea and cucumber mint lemonade for drinks, and for the meal, we got a tomato and mozzarella sandwich, along with truffle Mac n cheese, avocado and tomato salad, and poke. The drinks were pretty good. The blood orange and blue butterfly was super pretty, but the taste was pretty underwhelming. The cucumber mint, on the other hand, was a little more flavorful. The tomato and mozzarella sandwich was delicious. The bread was super crunchy yet chewy, and the ingredients were fresh. I loved the punch the balsamic vinegar added. It really elevated the sandwich as a whole. The avocado and tomato salad was also really good and fresh, if not too salty. The chips were also very salty, but very flavorful. The poke was decently good in flavor, but I didn’t actually have any of the fish because of the vegetarian diet. Lastly, the truffle Mac n Cheese was delightful. It really did have a truffle taste to it, and it was a really nice consistency of both noodle and cheese. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal here, and I am definitely going to come more often.
Overall, 24/30 or 80%
