Today's #dinner was #salmon with #sweetpotato and #brusselsprouts. My evening #snack was #oatmeal with nuts and raisins. I used almonds, walnuts and hazelnuts - only 2-3 each. It gave it a little crunch and raisins added a fruity note. 😍 Yes, you can eat carbs - even after 18:00pm - and still be lean and healthy.
My #breakfast was something I am used to: #oatmeal with #chiaseeds, #cinnamon and a small banana. Now I'll enjoy my coffee. I slept an hour longer than what I am used to. I guess my body still needs some more rest.
Cinnamon loaf recipe! simple and del! Dry ingredients: 1 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp self raising flour 2 tsp baking soda 3 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp salt pinch of mixed spices(or u can add nutmeg or cardamon) Wet ingredients: 1 cup applesauce 1/4 cup agave syrup 2 tsp vanilla extract 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1 tbsp lemon juic 1 tbsp maple syrup 1/4 cup soy milk →Preheat your oven to 180° C →Whisk wet and dry ingredients first seperately into their bowls → Then add wet into dry and mix well (at this point if your mixture looks too dry add a tablespoon of maple syrup but it should be fine, because it should be a bread like batter) → Grease your pan ( i used a 8.5 x 4.5 inch baking pan) → Add your batter and top with chopped walnuts~the smaller the pieces the less burnt they'll get trust me :p → Bake for 40-45 mins at 180°C →Optional step: once cooled you can top it with some icing as it is not very sweet itself : add a tablespoon of milk or less + a dash of maple syrup and just keep adding icing sugar guys until you get the consistency and thickness you want. Keep whisking all the way through.
