This is why I am hard on myself when it comes to my #diet. If I actually stick to it for a hot minute, I have #abs. I literally ate #IceCream for #breakfast yesterday, BUT adhered to my #macros all weekend and this is all it takes. The more #muscle I put on, the easier is becomes to lean out when I want. This said, I need to stop abusing that privilege and just keep my weekends clean. I miss being more #muscular in appearance and am taking this #photoshoot for #Christmas idea seriously. Also...yes, I am ridiculously #tanned. To the surprise of many, I actually #MealPrep #daily and don't make an entire day of it, making all my meals for the week at once...However, I cook my #chicken off weekly and always have it at the ready, so I can just throw my #meals together at 5 am for the day at hand. Listen, I own when shit gets weird in my #kitchen. This is one of those times...but hear me out...So one day while #MealPrepping, I ran out of #OliveOil. It was 5 am and I was in an any #HealthyFat in a storm kind of situation and had to hit my #macros somehow. I grabbed my #PeanutButter. I put it in my #chicken and #GreenBeans. It's a #staple in my #diet when I'm #cutting. Long story short, it was to die for and I still enjoy it on a regular basis. Tonight being one of those nights. I'm dieting again to make sure I'm only 10 lbs from stage weight come Januray. I'm also booking a #photoshoot for #Christmas to keep me in line, so I go into my #prep exactly where I need to be. No messing around. My #breakfast that I didn't post...#Banana #pancake with #blueberries and #yogurt. The heat has taken everything out of me I have not been #cooking as per my norm. I've even been eating out more than I would like simply because I refuse to deal with the humidity. Not to mention, I have been pretty much living off #IceCream. The #heat and I do not get along. My MS is heat sensitive. I hide things incredibly well when I'm not feeling well, but it's been a rough week or 2 for me. If I'm really not feeling well I will tend to actually #workout less, eat #icecream (my favorite #ComfortFood) and sleep a lot when I'm home. Today, for example, I actually have motion sickness from my MS and have been loitering on our balcony or on the couch for most of the day. It's 6pm and I'm only eating for the first time now...and it's as plain a meal as any...#GreenBeans sauteed with #OliveOil and #SeaSalt and #chicken...with a little #BBQSauce. Like #BBQ sauce is as wild as I'm getting today and part of the reason it's on my plate is that for whatever weird reason...#BullseyeBBQSauce on chicken is also one of my comfort foods lol. #DontJudge. At least it will kind of make up for 2 days of eating ice cream and junk food. Feel like it's been far to long since I made #pancakes...still got it. 🤗🥞 I kept the #diet tight this #weekend for the first time in I don't know how long. Yes, that means what you see here comfortably fits into my #macros. Weekends are usually a #FreeForAll for me and, if I plan to #LeanOut for my #birthday, it's just not going to work if I play that game. People can get discouraged when they #WorkHard and eat so healthy but don't see progress...and I promise you it's probably because your #CheatDay or #CheatMeal is out of hand. It can take an entire week to lose a pound and one day to gain 2lbs. 3500 #calories is a pound. A 500 calorie a day deficit for 7 days means you lose a pound. 3500 extra calories on your cheat day and all your hard work is out the window. 3500 calories adds up quick if you're eating pizza and dessert. I know this all too well and have not keeping myself in check on the weekends. However, I'm getting on the scale Monday after a good pep talk from a couple of the boys at work and getting down to business. I think it's going to help a great deal being surrounded by other #bodybuilders to keep me focused. If I want to have my #muscles and be able to see them too, I've got to grind this out lol!
