This morning, I was hiding in my son's room so i could have a quiet chatwith a friend. I was feeling lazy, and would have been happy to stay there. I could hear my kids playing happily in the background, and it was filling me with all sorts of warm fuzzies that their deepest bonds and closest friendships are each other.
But, when I'm feeling lazy, I know I need to do something....so I decided it was time for a 10 minute tackle.
I have a few baskets and bins around the house with things I've avoided putting away...so, I decided to tackle the biggest one. I set my timer for 10 minutes, truly dreading how long this would take me.
I had the whole thing sorted through, all of the items put in their homes, and the basket put away in 4 minutes....FOUR !
Since my timer was still going, I kept going. In the remaining 6 minutes I swapped out a load of laundry, tidied the family room, and kissed a boo boo.
Wondering one day if I'll learn to not make projects bigger than they actually are!
Challenge yourself to do a #tenminutetackle today. Surprise yourself with how much you can accomplish in a measly 10 minutes!
