Last week was test week with the weightlifting team's training program. The whole team saw some great results and I was able to sneak out a few decent lifts of my own.
Highlights throughout the week.

1. 137kg/302lbs Snatch (aka snatch pressout)
2.134kg/295lbs Snatch (without the press out)
3. 155kg/342lbs C&J
4.161kg/355lbs Clean
5. 210kg Squat

Onto the next phase, hoping to bring some big numbers to the platform next season!

Had to fight the urge to go back to sleep this morning. Really feeling the fatigue and stiffness that comes with the first week back to pretty high volume but things are slowly coming back together. No misses today with triples up to 75% and 4 singles at 80% on both snatches and clean and jerks, plus some heavy squats. Pushing through and learning to toughen up when I feel like giving up. #quietlyandpatiently #relentless #4weeks

Carly (@carlydelonge) initially started out doing mostly bodybuilding and high intensity crossfit style workouts, but was seeking a change. 2 years ago she turned to Coach Diesel to educate her in the fun but challenging realm of Olympic Weightlifting. She has not looked back since. Carly competed twice in 2017, once at the Peak Power Open and then at the Valhalla Club Competition.

The last 10 days of training were derailed by a medical issue but I'm back on a structured program. Day 1- Snatch + OHS at 120 kg, followed by a greasy 124kg snatch. Jerks were off today but the 150kg clean felt pretty light. Followed by weak front Squats and Deadlifts. Project stop being a little bitch and lift less mediocre weights has commenced.

120kg/265lbs snatch pulls and 111kg/245lbs brutal clean pull 4 stops today!
