Happy Saturday. Are you working on your goals today 😁?
Lately, I've been talking a lot with @_strangefinder_ about how so many people start businesses that aren't aligned with their current purpose in life.
Just because you came up with an idea that you think would sell, it doesn't mean you should pursue it as a business.
Once you start encountering the inevitable roadblocks that come with starting a business, you're going to lose motivation.
Making mistakes is necessary for growth, but you can avoid digging yourself into a big hole by making sure that you pursue a business that's aligned with your purpose.
Do you know more about one particular thing than most people? Do your friends come to you for specific advice on the same things over and over? What are you so in love with doing that you can't stop think about it? What is the real reason you love that thing so much?
THOSE are the important questions you should ask yourself before starting a biz.
NOT... What's easiest to sell? or What has the highest profit margins? or What's a cool idea that people might like?
No. Just No. There are too many useless products being sold already. Don't add to the mess.
Business is about providing solutions. Not just for the consumer, but for the provider as well.
When you go out of your way to help a friend, it's because you care... and you don't regret the time/effort required. You feel good after you're done.
Same thing in business. Provide a solution that (a) helps the customer solve a problem, AND (b) gives you a sense of purpose while doing it.
The reason I help business owners is because I believe everybody has the potential to be successful, and I want to help those that have already taken the initiative to help themselves.
Stop hustling just for the sake of making money, and start pursuing a business/lifestyle that is aligned with your life's purpose.
I'm a lifestyle entrepreneur (emphasis on "lifestyle") and a social media marketer.
