GIRLS! 🔪 Don't be afraid to train chest every once in awhile. Listen, I'm the president of the #ittybittytittycommittee & I promise throwing in chest once a week will NOT give you manly muscles.
Especially competitors-- if you neglect to train chest you'll create unnatural lines & undeveloped muscle. You will not grow huge pecs from throwing in chest here & there; however, you WILL create a natural flow from your deltoids to your pectoral muscles that will give you the symmetry you need for stepping on stage.. Judges will always notice your flaws before your strengths... you don't want full deltoids with a sunken in chest for the judges to nitpick at.
I've posted something similar on my page before but I wanted to post it again! (I'm also awkwardly talking to the person videoing this so excuse the random pauses & chatting) -- Try some moves that work more than just you pecs, like these: cable flies (front deltoids, chest) or narrow grip bench press (triceps, chest)!!
