I'm traveling so today I am posting two training videos from several months ago.
Strong legs will help YOU on the basketball court. YOU want to be able to explode past another player. YOU want to be the player who can last for an entire game and PERFORM. The basketball player in this video, Charles Del Rosario (@underrated_basketballjunkie), is a professional basketball player and Trainer based in New York City. Good lesson here. For our HS athletes, this move on Squatmax will take you to a very painful and humbling place where some will question their commitment and desire. The great ones however visit these places often and own them.

Showed this move on Squatmax the other day with long time NBA veteran Jameer Nelson but you can see the bands underneath the platform better in this angle. As you can imagine, his quad is on fire with the push and because the direct band tension is ripping him down, his hamstring is on fire. Both muscles firing against each other in an athletic split stance low to the ground position where the great athletes thrive. SAND WORK❗️Speed and agility drills in the sand as opposed to on stable ground has great benefits and is a great way to change up your workouts. Some of the benefits of sand workouts include, increased use of stabilizer muscle in core, ankles and knees, increased leg strength, and greater coordination, all ultimately leading to less injuries in your sport❗️🔑 If you have never done this type of training before I definitely suggest you give it a try.
