Why is it so hard to understand that I censor my pictures BECAUSE I WANT TO? Me posting nakey yoga pics is not a nudist thing, it's a selflove thing. I admire the beauty of the human body, except my own and I want learn to see myself in the same way. I have no desire to walk around naked in public, but I simply want to be comfortable wearing shorts this summer 🌞 And maybe finally take my son swimming. He loves swimming soooo much, but we've been to a public swimming pool only once, because I die a little everytime I wear a bikini in public. Anyway, Wide Angle Forward Fold to one leg:
• I recommend starting with a regular forward fold, not a twisted fold as shown here. Sit straight up with your legs wide, turn your upper body facing the leg you will fold over. With a straight (!) spine reach for your toes.
• Again, get out of your head and aim to touch your ribs to your thighs. The goal here is to stretch the hamstrings and open the hips, not bend the spine.
• Note my feet are flexed and toes are facing up. This is not random! It helps to keep your knees from rotating inwards.
• Squeeze the glutes to keep the legs straight. I promise you, this will help you channel your inner pancake. #bethepancake
