We bid goodbye to the lowlands of Arizona.
Down there, the deserts were warm and treated us like kings. Now, up at 7,000 feet, we're back in sweaters and under the pines. Gluttons for the cold, I guess.
Bye saguaros, bye ocotillos, bye-bye open skies! We're up here in the mountains and we greet the high elevations--and the trees--with all our warmth.
