I really contemplated skipping cardio this morning and getting an extra hour worth of sleep. I’m sore, I’m tired and I’m catching a cold.
There’s value to pushing through when you’re uncomfortable. Life won’t always be comfortable, you have to follow through regardless of the hurdles. The best? They achieve despite of uncomfortable conditions.
It’s the little details that count, that one little bit repeated time after time with consistency adds up to a massive difference. Commit everyday to do one thing extra that takes you closer to each major goal that you have.
That mentality causes you to look at things differently. The vast majority of our reasons for not doing things are excuses, they’re meaningless. If you want something, do it. Find a way to get it done, because if being tired, cold and sore can stop you from building your legacy, success just may not be for you.
If you’re tired, no excuses. If you don’t feel like it, no excuses. If you feel it’s going nowhere, no excuses. Just do one thing. Build momentum, build consistency and one day you won’t recognize the person you see in the mirror. Just make the commitment. It all counts! It all matters!
Anyone can run downhill, not everyone can run up.
