One thing I’m really good at is taking care of myself. ✨💗🙋🏼♀️ I go for massages. I see a naturopath. I see a therapist. I take sick days when I am sick. I rest. I make sure to get enough sleep. I take baths. I relax. I exercise. I eat healthy food (most of the time 🙈). I treat myself. I lay on the couch and watch Netflix when I need to. I read. I make sure that my cup is FULL before taking care of others. ☮️ BUT this is something that is hard to admit because we live in a culture that values being being BUSY. 🤯A culture that values being stressed. Being stressed & busy are pretty much worn as a badge of honour. #AMIRIGHT ?! 🤷🏼♀️ If you’re not over worked, busy or stressed - are you even working hard enough ?
We need to stop wearing BUSY & STRESSED as badges of honour. 🙅🏼♀️YOUR well-being is just as important as ALL of the other people you are trying to care for.
